Digital Strategy: Dolly Dim Sum

Dolly Dim Sum is a modern interpretation of a traditional Chinese tea house catered to Malaysians throughout Klang Valley.  It is a contemporized dim sum house that offers an all-day grazing experience, specializing in modern authentic dim sum. Dim sum literally means "to touch the heart". To us dim sum is an art form - each piece is delicate and exquisite, much like a "dolly". Dolly Dim Sum not only offers a unique dining experience encompassing quality of ingredients but also a heartfelt service and an impeccable dining ambiance.

As the creative production arm, Purpose/Built assists Dolly Dim Sum in crafting their seasonal greetings through Social Media Assets and Email Marketing. Additional project includes video shooting, and production of their #wearefamily video content for their 2019 CNY campaign.

Email marketing is a great way to get entices customers and keeping them coming back for more. Content includes promotions, offerings and seasons greetings to their network of database. Social media marketing is also a great tool that will benefit restaurants in the long-run. When leveraged correctly, social media can be a great opportunity to increase interest. Dolly Dim Sum uses their Instagram platform to be their preferred method of communication to their customers. Creative development was done to show gratitude to their customers on the platform and also to entice followers converting to customers.
